Each frame is handmade by artist Robert Cerkleski using recycled lobster or stone crab traps collected from Key West, Florida. All frames are made with lightweight and durable plexiglass, making them less fragile than traditional glass. On the border of the frame, there is a unique commercial trap tag, always from various years, meaning they are different colors. Due to the handcrafted nature of the frames, no two are exactly alike, and the frame you receive may differ slightly from the one shown in the listing, though it will maintain a similar style and character.
